In case it hasn't already been said, this isn't Monty Python, though three of them are in it. It was John Cleese's project, "How To Irritate People". It came out in 1968; Python didn't start until 1969.
This is by far the funniest sketch on that program, which I found to be something of a dud, tbh. Cleese as host was so wooden I wanted someone to take his pulse. I'm a diehard Cleese fan, too!

and this is relevant because.... whether you find Benny Hill or Monthy Python funnier is based on personal opinion. If you like Benny better, go watch a Benny video!

Benny Hill was considered funnier than Monty Python by a UHF station (WLVI TV Cahnnel 56 in Cambridge, Ma) that ran both! I agree! |
